![]() If that outline is right in the middle, then you've got a pixel that's half covered by black, and half by white (or transparent), so it gives a 50% gray. ![]() This is correct, expected, and desirable. What's happening here is that the outlines of your text in Illustrator are falling inside of a pixel when exported, so Illustrator is using "Anti-Aliasing" to create a gray that blends between the two.
